An Essay written in 2005 anticipated the potential negative outcome for many Americans given the growing, vocal presence of the Conservative Religious Right within the politic of the day.
The premise for the original essay is the offering of an open invitation to move to Canada, to those Americans who were becoming increasingly concerned for the positioning of the political and socially conservative, right-wing, evangelical religious movement to influence the White House and ultimately, the Supreme Court, to amend Constitutional laws in favor of their Bible-driven beliefs.
It would seem that day has finally materialized some twelve years later under the Trump-Pence Administration.

If you are a non-believer that is Christian, gay, democrat or liberal in your views and lastly, AMERICAN, Canada has a lot of vacant land available for occupancy whenever you are ready. And from what I saw and heard on this program, though a brief expose of what is gong on in the good old’ US, I would be looking to pack up and move real soon..
The infusion of evangelical religious fervour and the insidious means they employ to establish their faith amongst the many and subsequently the political pressure this puts on the State, the judicial system, it is cause for not only Americans but also, the rest of the world to be concerned.
The evangelical, conservative Christian movement is organized and determined to put their mark on the majority of America in order to shape the future direction of that country. Their coy manner of insisting that they do not have a political agenda, that they do not impose their theology on others is a ruse. They know what their objectives are and precisely how they expect to achieve those goals. And with their ally in the Oval Office – they are on the road to achieve those goals. With the Congress and eventually the Supreme Court weighted in their favour – the implication of this movement will outlive this administration. It is fearful to see and hear American citizens negating any sense of reason or judgement in exercising their right to vote. Regardless of the political aspirations or abilities of a political candidate be they for the presidency, congress or any other arm of the federal government, as long as that individual holds to their same right wing (though they would not label themselves as such), moral Christian values – that is where their vote will be directed. George W Bush is living proof of that commitment
The fear for the balance of Americans in success of this movement is how it translates to the rest of the world’s religious communities the most obvious of these being the Islamic faith who view the events in the United States as a furtherance of the Christian dominance of the world – at their expense. In addition, as has been brutally illustrated to date, they will sacrifice themselves to prevent this from happening.
The rift these events create within the social fabric of American society will have the affect of undermining the united front that up until the unfolding of these events can only serve the enemies of the US – what is the old adage – United we conquer – divided we fall.

It is common awareness that a `Lie’, related to any matter of subject or condition, only serves to perpetuate more lying to protect the fact a lie has been perpetrated.
This condition eventually leads to establishing a `Secret’ to protect they who initiated the original lie. Eventually, this leads to conflict between those who become aware of the lie perpetuated versus those who protect the condition of the presence of a lie. For Nations, this generally falls under the classification of `National Security’.
Over the centuries the lies compounded upon lies has manifest to a present state where any subject pertaining to Human existence and the historical conditions from and which it has evolved to this the 21st century become subject to questioning debate.
Unfortunately, the select few who have assumed themselves to be the `rightful holders and protectors to the truth’ to the lies perpetrated over the centuries; fear for the level of anger and hostility that would ensue and foisted upon them by the Peoples of the World were, at this late date, said `truths’ be divulged.
It is with a high degree of certainty that many millions of lives have suffered and lost for the sole purpose and reason: to protect the many critical lies that comprises Human History.
But, this can no longer be tolerated.
All the Peoples of the World must finally rise up and take a stand against centuries of tyranny wrongly imposed upon them, at great cost of human suffering and debasement, by only a very few, select elite families and their political minions. Generations-old establishment that have constructively and strategically, for their own enrichment and empowerment, taken exclusive control to `Knowledge of Human Origins and Antiquity’ that are the rightful property of all Peoples. From ancient history and origins of our species to the purported interventions of `other world’ entities and all relevant matters in-between.
A global `Truth and Reconciliation’ event under the auspices of a Peoples United Nations must be demanded. A year long event where `secrets’ long held from Humanity be openly and unequivocally divulged; brought into the light of day.
`Truth and Reconciliation: A truth commission or truth and reconciliation commission is a commission tasked with discovering and revealing past wrongdoing by a government (or, depending on the circumstances, non-state actors also), in the hope of resolving conflict left over from the past.’
Finally, a loud and vocal revolution, here as yet to be experienced, of seismic proportions is essential to bring a final end to the conflict and suffering common humanity has long and wrongfully endured; to chart a new course allowing for it to finally evolve and prosper well into this 21st Century and beyond. Failure to do so will assuredly lead to its ultimate, unnecessary demise.

Three months into the first term of the Trump Presidency the World is witnessing an erosion of confidence in the foundational institutions of American civil society from its Office of the President through to and including, the institution of the Free Press.
Some have likened Trump’s short-term, to date, as the 45th President of the United States as a train wreck in the making. The President’s short bursts, often unsubstantiated, of claims of Fake News by the Mainstream media outlets, often referred to as the `Fifth Column’ to a Democracy, is undermining the Publics confidence in what is true and accurate reporting. The claims, often communicated late at night or early morning via Twitter, strangely correlate to reports conveyed by Breitbart News and Infowars; Internet-based, alternate News channels. These News media outlets cater to those within the broader community steeped in conspiratorial theories and captioned in their reports such phrases as `information the government doesn’t want you to know‘. Too, the audiences to these channels are widely known to be mostly Caucasian and Christian, religious belief.
The fires of suspicion and mistrust this early into the Trump Administration often fanned by biased pundits and celebrity personalities keen on advancing the strongly right-wing agenda bolstered by a Republican majority in Congress, Senate and now, the Supreme Court, combined with the substantial undermining of the Free Press; one has to question whether this will be the spark of insecurity that ignites the demise of the Republic that is the United States.
History has a cruel way of repeating itself if for no other reason then to attempt to teach Humanity the ills of its ways, and until such becomes the case; the equivalent to Rome of the past, a Nation’s self-annihilation may happen but once again.
Recent developments of a family nature have exposed me to a foreign experience, until now: the depth of hostility expressed and anxiety imposed upon an ailing, dying Father by his only and seemingly heartless Son.
What has materialized from this experience is clarity, from my perspective, of the true meaning of Empathy.
In the broader scope of human experience: it is the sufferance of the suffering for the non-suffering to suffer to realize the true meaning of Empathy.
When?
The beauty of Moon’s brilliant light reflecting on the still water of the harbor cove betrays the anguish felt deep inside as I sit gazing upward at the dark night sky filled to abundance with the flickering light of constellation’s stars.
Absorbed by the wonderment of nature’s paint I seek to find answers to questions’ manifest, reasons for humanity’s self-inflicted pain, dispensed with the hypocrisy of remorse.
The defilement of life’s abundant values given without price; expended as though worthless: life, taking life.
What virus of evil did mutate into the genetic of humanity to give rise to its indiscriminate ability to espouse hatred by voice and physical action? An evil so dark as to seemingly expunge the full essence of Love from the spirit soul given to all with birth into a world of unquestioning beauty and abundance to be had. What wayward action was it that led it to traverse our planet without impediment or impunity to find permanence of residence in all, yet diverse, cultures?
Were an alien intelligence to look upon the dualistic actions of this earth’s inhabitants it would assuredly too, be left to wonder the root cause(s) for this profane condition. Like a child spoiled to indifference to the riches unquestioningly given it without want for reciprocation but to appreciate the inherent value of its worth and, to cherish the opportunity for its giving.
How long can this insidious profanity be allowed to continue without an ultimate price to be paid, to render a final solution that will fully purge the disease sickness that holds to the genetic roots of humanity and its progeny of generations to come? To allow the full goodness of the Soul’s spirit of love that freely resides in all at birth, to flourish and expand in the course of life’s given journey before entering the next realm of energy’s domain.

Face it, the reality is that the System; the organized, political, judicial and institutional structure of civil society, as it has evolved, comprehensively, is beyond the scope of any Common-person or group of persons, to evoke REAL CHANGE!
Regardless of the Country-nation, be it one governed by democratic philosophy or autocratic, dictatorial oppressive rule; those individual citizens who advocate for a leadership role, on the strength of reforming the rule of law and legislative governance at the behest of the Common citizen, typically renege on the rhetorical promises made during their electoral campaign.
Virtually, on every occasion in the last century; be they President, Prime Minister, Autocratic Dictator or, other titled leader of a Nation, democratically elected or not, to the highest Office of the Nation; upon taking office and at times before, the only true change observed is diametrically opposite in direction to that advocated in the course of their electoral campaigning.
The direct consequence of this failing on the part of those elected to lead In the majority of countries deemed to have fully open, free democratic election processes; the percentage of those who actually vote typically falls below fifty-percent. Meaning, the candidate elected to Office in effect represents significantly less than a minor majority of the nation’s Peoples. The level of political skepticism and mistrust of elected officials effectually nullifies its true significance and fundamentally, is a waste of time and of public revenues.
So what is the remedy solution if, in fact, there is one to be had?
The answer to this question is elusive at this time, however, there are TWO real-time case-studies to be observed over the course of the next coming year of 2017 and beyond:
A) The Presidency of Donald J. Trump – 45 President of the United States
B) The Presidency of Rodrigo Duterte – Newly elected President of the Philippines
The significance of these two presidential administrations stems from both incumbents being elected on the strength of severe and radical CHANGE to the Establishment rule preceding being officially sworn to Office of President. Each having taken a controversial stance on the current state-of-governance and affairs.
In the case of Donald Trump, President-Elect; his brash and at times controversial statements in presenting his electoral platform focused on the middle-class; advocating for their better representation in the form of jobs and equality to share in the prosperity of the nation captioned by his electoral slogan: `Make America Great Again’.
However, the professional character of those whom his `Transition Team’ has announced, to date, to hold senior cabinet positions within the Trump Administration would suggest the antithesis to the far-reaching promises of his campaigning rhetoric.
Donald J. Trump – President Elect
With respect to President Duterte; his election rhetoric too was brash and controversial in nature. His use of deriding language focused on the condition of the middle-class but, more significantly, with respect to the state-of-the nation’s widespread, illegal drug cartels and, rampant corruption of those within public offices of government and private businesses advocating for a ruthless, eradicating approach to remedy the problems.
In conclusion, given the atypical construct of the campaigns awarding these two unconventional individuals the highest office of their respective Nations; the domestic and international implications of their administrative policies during their time of governance as yet to manifest on the world stage, undoubtedly, regardless, they will have a long-term impact on next generation, electoral cycle machinations for their respective nations as well, for those of observing nations.
However, in the interim, the Common-person still remains hostage to the failings of those who choose to come forward on the strength and promise of REAL CHANGE and, the inability of the System to mitigate its failings.
