The tide of developments materializing since the commencement of this new decade; I have provided my view to these and am surprised to the degree to which they have so manifest. It is not to suggest some mysterious insight, but purely observing the trends, the course of discussion by those providing the necessary, crucial, and critical thinking on the topics of relevance to our societal future.

With little doubt, most around the world are consumed by the onslaught of the pandemic: COVID 19. The daily increase in number of deaths arising from its seemingly relentless spread. A spread by conveyance from one human individual, to another.
Public Health officials, on all levels globally, are failing to persuade the broader public to the efficacy of the corona virus spread, and its potential lethalness with mortality reaching into the several thousands globally.
Witnessing the blatant ignorance of humanity, of all nations, ignoring the warnings broadcast through the Media; the seriousness, and potentially devastating outcome by ignoring calls for self-isolation, social distancing, and quarantine if infected; there is given, a sense of ironic, black humor to the `death-wish’ transpiring:
The bold, and beautiful array of human ignorance, on global display; when defiance to a truth to condition brings death, and sufferance their way, through ignorance to edict to obey: stay away; were it even, but for a moment on any given day.
Charting its invisible, pathogen course without human assistance, means meeting acceptance without resistance, by they whom seem persistent, to making its deathly journey consistent; and, its ultimate success: the end of Human Existence.
Here’s a little bit of mind bending thought: given the growing Democrat delegate support for Bernie Sanders’ as Democratic Nominee for the 46th Presidency of the United State; yet, the simultaneous hesitancy of the Democrat Establishment to endorse Sanders’ democratic socialist agenda platform; feeling it will not meet with approval of the general electorate. The Democratic party is re-enforcing this sentiment by paralleling: socialism with communism , to undermine Sanders, and by nominating a more progressive, middle of the road candidate, will avoid Trump’s win of the November, election.
Could the advent of the Corona Virus be an advantage to aid Bernie Sanders?
The Corona virus, a.k.a.: COVID 19, is on the verge to potentially ravish the globe. And, not necessarily from a public health, and mortality perspective; but, the ripple effects the panic, and anticipation of COVID 19, becoming a pandemic, is already show signs of developing.
Could COVID 19 materialize as 2020’s Black Swan event; a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact.
It’ is the growing condition of uncertainty that begins to impact the global economy dramatically. Work stoppages, production shutdown, lay-offs, commercial and retail sales decline, etc., etc..
As this condition grows, global stock exchanges see sell-offs; as the virus concern spreads further sell-offs at an increasing pace downward, spiraling to collapse, in all sectors, globally.
Just a few weeks since the outbreak, and cracks in the financial sector are beginning to appear:
Given what has transpired to date with quantitative easing measures, the Federal Reserve, and Central Banks might be powerless to plug the dam of liquidity outflow that have signs of materializing leading to exhausting of the financial system and fortunes being lost overnight.
It essentially, could have the effect of what the 2008 Sub-prime loandebacle did to trigger the financial collapse that almost brought on a depression; but this time: it will likely be from the top – down, and could be 1929 all over again but WORSE!
This potential Black Swan event could serve Bernie Sanders’ campaign well; to put front, and center, his Social Democratic policy platform, of the last forty-years.
The message to the electorate: recognize the collapse being suffered is the direct result of run-away Capitalism. Draw specific example to illustrate clearly, for the majority of the populace, how a purely corporate driven capitalist economy, and financial system is a pipe-dream, the American Dream; devised to benefit, and serve only the few.
Democratic Socialism, as Bernie Sanders has professed his entire life in service to the [Re]-Public; counters all the false promises sold over the last several decades of left-right politics, and promulgated through the corporate owned, and directed Main Stream Media.
A possible Campaign Slogan: BRING BACK THE FUTURE!, with the tag line: “For Hopes, and Dreams? NO, FOR REALITY!”
And should the Democrat Establishment impede Bernie’s rightful claim as Nominee for President; he declare himself an Independent, carrying his electoral support with him.
Then, to guarantee the passing of Bernie’s policies through Congress and the Senate, to vote for Democrats, and Independents, due for re-election, who advocate and fully support Bernie’s platform.
Since the inception of this 21st millennium, the Planet has been in turmoil. The sources: too many to chronicle save to say many lives, innocent humans, have egregiously suffered, or worse: Died.
Now, at the threshold to the birth of the next, the third decade to this Century; and the Planet has moved even deeper into the darkness, proceeding down the path to conflict. The precursors to this deadly conclusion are self-evident to they who wish to observe. The rest will suffer the shock of their ignorance, as those of past epoch, have so fallen.
Like a spiral unwinding of all that came before; civil order unravels, exposing its flaws masked over by progress of that which is built, to what is coming. Where the faults to blame, whether they be a premeditation to a want outcome, or purely accident of cause to consequence, seem irrelevant. Their fate are being unleashed.
Nations, large and small, are present to this same discomfort being victim to the charted, progressing course, energized by meaning of unexpectedly, ill-defined purpose. The confusion these developments garnered allowed for the sense of national insecurity, fanned by events beyond their shores, innocent to, yet through, passive/aggressive acquiescence to what was put before them.
The fuse, to ignite the powder-keg of global discontent, has been in process of its making since the start of the 2nd decade of this century; and now, approaching its end, the conditions are set, and ready, for its explosive, energy, spark!
One by one, the gate-keepers to rational investment of reason to conditional compromise, basis of historical rise to civility’s fragile organization, are being displaced. Their message to caution expunged from station of credence by a seemingly corrupt power, fueled by ignorance beyond self-indulgence of knowing their harmful consequences.
At large, and increasingly defining the track of this current, global unwinding course, residing in North America: the United States, the leading, global power, now, since 2017, is embarking upon the process of deconstructing the foundational, pillar structures upon which its dominance, as a global force since 1950, are founded.
Crisis is at hand, driven by the wedge of differences, hammered between factions of every description, premised and promised, by the algorithm design paradigm: divide and conquer ; to defeat an impediment to reward.
The falsehood of democracy as being an equal, unequivocally shared power to the masses, is gaining its dominance of being a truth.
Engineered politics being employed to maintain a stronghold, impervious to the reaches of constitutional laws, state, or importantly: federal.
NOVEMBER SEVEN-th, 2018, will be an eventful, historic day: heralding in a politic with potential to forever change the face humanity on the Planet: the potential, lit fuse to the keg!
As the title infers, the present course of humanity on the planet is destined toward destruction: self-annihilation. Whether this unwelcome end is manifest by the disastrous effects of climate-change or, equally as bad and potential: thermal nuclear war and the nuclear winter that will ensue.
Regardless of the mechanism, to thwart such potential happening, if there is a solution to be had, it is the Millennial generation, to this current epoch, to take affirmative and permanent action to manifest it.
Inspiring such a movement is Vice documentary production titled: `The Third Industrial Revolution: A Radical New Sharing Economy’ (https://youtu.be/QX3M8Ka9vUA) hosted by Jeremy Rifkin, American economic and social theorist, writer, public speaker, political adviser, and activist, who addresses an American audience of several millennial age men and women, detailing what amounts to a challenging road map to usher in a new economic system. A system presently hinting its way into the lexicon by way of such words as `block-chain’; `share-economy’; bio-system economy’; etc..
The hour and half is stark in Rifkin’s picture painted of the present state of global and earthly affairs detailed by the chronology of events initiated from the start of the 1st industrial revolution, through the second, and to where matters stand today. And the picture is not pretty nor is to where, if matters do not change dramatically, and soon, things are determined to get much worse.
What is clearly evident by way of Rifkin’s presentation; the European Union countries, led by example of Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel; and, China’s President, Xi Jinping; are leading their respective countries through revolutionary policy changes clearly established to lead them on the path to what he refers to as the `third industrial revolution’. And, simultaneously, asks: `where is the United States on this important issue?. And further, for that matter, by extension: all of North America and remaining regions of the world to address what is essentially a global problem demanding a global solution.
It is almost an imperative that those comprising the Millennial generation, supported by those of all previous generations, to watch, listen and respond to what Jeremy Rifkin details in this very informative and inspiring documentary.
In the United States, Millennials will have the opportunity to institute affirmative action by voting in the upcoming mid-term, November 2018 election to draft a new body of legislators, Senators and Congressman. Those acknowledged to be pro-active in the challenges, not solely on matters of climate-change, but too, a heightened awareness of the role smart technologies and systems of value exchange such as block-chain and crypto-currency/asset value exchange; AI infra-structure and autonomous technologies; construct of the share-economy, to ignite a new era of human r-evolution:`The Third Industrial Revolution: A Radical New Sharing Economy’.
In keeping with my typical voice being expressed in poetry; the following is a poem written early in 2010 acknowledging the state of matters then, that, eight years later, seems most appropriate to express in context of the revolution humanity is upon the threshold to embark:
R-evolution of Human-kind
Only a handful of the world’s people are in the know
And what evil doings they do sow
And from it the hatred amongst all does grow
Question to be answered: What is their game?
And from it: What is the gain?
And by it: Who ultimately does the pain?
The saga of this siege has long been played
The life and blood of the masses is the price paid
When does it stop – when does it go away?
Populations of people are all getting smarter
No longer will they serve as the elite’s fodder
The uprising to come will undo this ongoing slaughter
A cataclysm will it take to break the slave chain
Only then will the people of the world take back their rightful claim
An Essay written in 2005 anticipated the potential negative outcome for many Americans given the growing, vocal presence of the Conservative Religious Right within the politic of the day.
The premise for the original essay is the offering of an open invitation to move to Canada, to those Americans who were becoming increasingly concerned for the positioning of the political and socially conservative, right-wing, evangelical religious movement to influence the White House and ultimately, the Supreme Court, to amend Constitutional laws in favor of their Bible-driven beliefs.
It would seem that day has finally materialized some twelve years later under the Trump-Pence Administration.

`IN GOD THEY TRUST – NBC with TOM BROKAW (2005-10-23)
If you are a non-believer that is Christian, gay, democrat or liberal in your views and lastly, AMERICAN, Canada has a lot of vacant land available for occupancy whenever you are ready. And from what I saw and heard on this program, though a brief expose of what is gong on in the good old’ US, I would be looking to pack up and move real soon..
The infusion of evangelical religious fervour and the insidious means they employ to establish their faith amongst the many and subsequently the political pressure this puts on the State, the judicial system, it is cause for not only Americans but also, the rest of the world to be concerned.
The evangelical, conservative Christian movement is organized and determined to put their mark on the majority of America in order to shape the future direction of that country. Their coy manner of insisting that they do not have a political agenda, that they do not impose their theology on others is a ruse. They know what their objectives are and precisely how they expect to achieve those goals. And with their ally in the Oval Office – they are on the road to achieve those goals. With the Congress and eventually the Supreme Court weighted in their favour – the implication of this movement will outlive this administration. It is fearful to see and hear American citizens negating any sense of reason or judgement in exercising their right to vote. Regardless of the political aspirations or abilities of a political candidate be they for the presidency, congress or any other arm of the federal government, as long as that individual holds to their same right wing (though they would not label themselves as such), moral Christian values – that is where their vote will be directed. George W Bush is living proof of that commitment
The fear for the balance of Americans in success of this movement is how it translates to the rest of the world’s religious communities the most obvious of these being the Islamic faith who view the events in the United States as a furtherance of the Christian dominance of the world – at their expense. In addition, as has been brutally illustrated to date, they will sacrifice themselves to prevent this from happening.
The rift these events create within the social fabric of American society will have the affect of undermining the united front that up until the unfolding of these events can only serve the enemies of the US – what is the old adage – United we conquer – divided we fall.
This poem, originally written back in 2012 in response to social and geopolitical issues occurring at that tumultuous time, upon review, seems more appropriate to the current state of world affairs with the inauguration of the 45th President Donald J. Trump.
Unlike the fears garnered when the poem was first written; what seems poised on the horizon to erupt, due to increased nationalism not only in the United States but across Western Europe, should instill a true sense foreboding reminiscent of the pre-World War II era.
Unfortunately, humanity once again appears to fall victim to the machinations of the pathological designs of true power:
Last Human Standing
Falling deeper into the abyss of our making
This life on Earth seems forsaken
Though remedy of solution viably in-hand
But ignored, for reasons becoming clearer to understand
Global power held by the unseen elite
Are determined to manifest humanity’s defeat
They will not rest until their destructive plan is complete
Instigated with common people fighting each other in the street
Economic collapse is their efficient tool to instigate
Knowing empty belles’ are much easier to infuriate
Whilst poised in their ivory towers left to masturbate
While goon-squad militarized police, the uprisings, mitigate
It would take a fool’s mind not to see what is happening
The civilized structure of the last hundred years is set for collapsing
Then by their design a New Order for civilization is ready for hatching
To render a commoner’s life to impoverishment by servitude, ever-lasting
These are not words to echo the cry of humanity’s impending defeat
It is a call to recognize what is about to come and its receipt
Demanding if it is to happen – common people take their stand on the street
Poised ready to fight until the last Human standing on their feet

Now that the `Day’ is near upon us, I thought it appropriate to repost this poem that speaks to what the day, for the future will foster:
Submission
Promises of a leadership empowers a corrosive way;
Mouths being muted, blinded by fortunes enticement pay;
Desperate, feuding factions lost to impede this destructive play;
Rendering History’s sufferance gains, dissolve on inauguration day.
Forward, backward, the future path direction led to follow;
Growth toward prosperity sounding more vague and hollow
Yet, anguish and disparity by force left to swallow;
Awakening a new-old world of tomorrows in darkness to wallow.
Minds given to rise-up find futile exercise to opposition
Purchasing summary execution or worse, rendition;
The obvious goal is to obliterate hope of any remedial condition;
Leadership objective: permanent and universal submission.

Catastrophic Finality?

There was a time one could write of the failing world condition,
Speak clearly to the issues that give rise to fear and division,
To recognize the societal elements eroding into submission,
But, alas, time now seems beyond words to make corrective revision.
The reality is; political ineptitude is given undeniable power,
Pervasive media is filled with murder and hate to make one cower,
Filth of selfish greed reigns down like a golden-piss shower,
Nationalistic tribalism, once constrained, now let to flower.
This new millennium, since the days of its early start,
Tainted by the powder-keg lit by a terrorist spark,
Submerging all into a history growing increasingly dark,
Now two-decades in, convinced, it’s not to be a passing lark.
Not surprising, Hollywood films seem reflective precursors to a reality;
Conveying plausible reason not to ignore their story’s seeming banality
As often, the protagonist, confronted by a choice of a brutal-end totality,
In the end, misguidedly lures away from a truth of impending, catastrophic finality.
