NATO: Itching for a Fight?

Anyone with their ear to the `grind-stone’ has to be aware something ominous is brewing.

Tensions globally are ever increasing given the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict that has elevated the all-present fractures between Western Allied Nations and Eastern Alliance Nations stemming from the Ukraine-Russia conflict since February 2019.

Compounding these powder-keg situations is the National elections for many of the Countries involved resulting in potential changes stemming from changes to their leadership; raising the level of uncertainty as to foreign policy decisions post these crucial elections.

These elevated risks are made visible by mounting rhetoric concerning military readiness and the need for escalated recruitment efforts including potential conscription measures pronounced by major NATO member countries, and not to the exclusion of newest applicants Sweden and Finland.

As proof to the seriousness of the situation NATO’s planned war-game ominously titled: STEADFAST DEFENDER 24 referred to as the largest planned exercise in decades.

These tensions are not being ignored by European nations and the call for readiness loud and visible to those whom wish to take notice: ”British Army veteran Robert Clark issued a stern warning for the United Kingdom and Europe in a recent column published by The Telegraph.”

At this point the question that need be asked: `On what basis is this heightened `war stance’ rhetoric founded, and which Country, or Countries is the true instigator, and to what conceivable end?

To fully comprehend the situation at this stage of the gamesmanship being played on the geopolitical stage demands a review as far back as 2004 to current day. Suffice it to say the principles players led by the United States include NATO member Nations [Sweden, Finland], Ukraine, Russia and its regional allies.

As would be obvious Russia, from the Western perspective, is deemed the `Enemy’ to be reckoned with given fear a victory with Ukraine affords Vladimir Putin opportunity to fulfill his perceived but not confirmed ambitions, to re-establish the former Soviet State Nation. “The US defense aid package is held hostage by what President Biden rightly labeled “petty politics” in Washington. And the future of the EU’s economic aid is seemingly dependent on Hungary’s incongruous stance.

Hesitation in the West’s capitals has emboldened Putin. His recent public appearances and defiant statements demonstrate that as far as he is concerned, Russia is in this for the long haul.”

As stated above, to fully comprehend these statements it is essential to understand who is the aggressor in these matters, and to do so, some historical perspective is necessary:

The pursuance of Ukraine as a potential member to NATO commencing as far back as 2004, in contravention to the established, historical agreement is the source to the conflict being engaged; essentially a United States proxy war with Russia. This to be exacerbated by the addition of Sweden and Finland to the NATO roster essentially creating a lethal military front on the western border to Putin’s Russia.

In truth, there are several vectors by which global conflict can erupt; each with their `fuse’ ready to be lit. History has proven time and again: they whom cry the loudest for peace, most often are the perpetrators to the conflict.

In the end, ultimately, there are no winners! Centuries of pain and suffering inflicted upon a global citizenry is simply due to the psychopathic ambitions of those in leadership to nations, and the mindless minions whom do their murderous biddings.

Unfortunately, what has significant potential to unfold is this time, no different!

21st Century Eugenics

Eugenics: is the practice or advocacy of improving the human species by selectively mating people with specific desirable hereditary traits. It aims to reduce human suffering by “breeding out” disease, disabilities and so-called undesirable characteristics from the human population.

It doesn’t take the mind of a Futurist to predict what is in store for Humanity going forward into this 21^st Century, and beyond.

The reality to this future is being seeded by events and developments in the here and now.

The technological, biological and social-philosophical advancements being introduced for most of humanity are seamlessly making their infusive way into daily life. Though highly visible by way of the Internet and hand-held electronic communication devices; most are oblivious to the full impact these seemingly defined progressions will impose in both the immediate, and long-term structure of civilized, human community.

The conundrum that exists presently stems from civil-institutions: politics, religion, finance, and other orders configuring modern society, foundations of which are premised upon centuries old edicts and moralities; collide with a new order structure.

A viral, and virtual algorithm, hyper-quantum generated reality beyond comprehension of even those that create the infra-structure to its making.

Artificial intelligence driven algorithms essential to ingest, and digest several Petabytes [1 quadrillion, or 1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes] of data, rendering highly sophisticated computations that far exceed human capability to resolve, are increasing assuming responsibility for the critical decision making processes that comprise all fundamental structures of the civilized world. As Quantum-computing hardware and software advance beyond its present state of infancy, the impact on humanity will be incomparable to any former epoch in Human history.

Humanity’s perceived advancement deeper into this 21^st Century, demands at least a cursory examination of recent historical harbingers; contributing factors and events paving the way.

It is not essential to delve deep into human history to highlight what is contributing to the evolutionary changes anticipated. In fact, not further than the start of the current century.

The first pivotal event of this Century: the September 11, 2001 attack on the soil of the United States; a monumental life altering event. Well documented and inscribed into the hearts and minds of not just American citizens, but those of all global nations given what followed: twenty years of conflict and many lives lost. However, relevant to this focus is the political, religious, economic and psychological turmoil and chaos that evolved over the first two decades of the century. Leading to the election of a nationalist and divisive political ethos primarily in the United States under the Trump Presidential Administration; but too, one that infectiously spread throughout the developed world. Which ironically, was matched in its ferocity, and deadliness: a Pandemic. A Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) widely labeled COVID-19. A viral contagion purportedly originating from within China.

Disregarding other significant contributing factors of global politics, trade and finance; the pandemic made blatantly evident the ills of 20^th Century policy decisions related to global trade and tariffs, just-in-time production streams, off-shore manufacturing of essential services and products, etc.. Leading developed nations found themselves bidding blindly and expensively for the basic essentials in support of their health-care operations such a personal protection equipment, ventilators, medicines particularly vaccine development, production, distribution, and ultimate inoculation for billions of vulnerable global citizens. What premeditated programs designed for such national emergencies found to be either inadequate, or non-existent. Millions of individuals dying prematurely as a result, and potentially leading to the structural and financial collapse of several developed economies. This global event yet to fully play-out remains a challenge to accurately estimate in its potential, the devastation of the social fabric of all nations.

In summary to this point; the world finds itself steeped in chaos, scrambling to survive its Peoples morally, emotionally, and financially. But what is clear and evident: with the rapid advancement of autonomous technologies, administered by super-computers running AI algorithms in key infra-structures of modern society, the role, or need for mass populations becomes less of a priority; especially those of lessor education and/or financial sustainability. Presently the World Economic Forum (WEF) estimate 52 percent of current work tasks will be undertaken by some form of Robotics by the year 2025 (just 4 years away). Though an estimate of 97 million jobs to be created by automation, an equivalent number of jobs are expected to disappear, principally in manual labor, production manufacturing, and service industry. The question that arises: what will all these people do to generate a living wage; plus what are the prospects for future generations of these displaced individuals?

To answer this, and many other yet to be asked, daunting questions to resolve, some may turn to Aldous Huxley’s BRAVE NEW WORLD as a potential futurist world where through genetic engineering humans are artificially borne to a life prescribed to full-fill a specific need ranging from janitor to an elitist bon-ve-vont flourishing off the efforts of all below their borne status. Or any of many utopian, to dystopian sci-fi provocations of a future humanity struggling to sustain its relevance in an increasing technologically administered existence.

However, in conclusion, what is a definite certainty: the present course for humanity to be taken will with certainty, be rife with conflict for the disparaged millions whom find themselves with “so-called undesirable characteristics from the [Robot] population”.

Lest you, and yours find yourselves one of those Eugenically predisposed.

NOVEMBER SEVEN-th

Since the inception of this 21^st millennium, the Planet has been in turmoil. The sources: too many to chronicle save to say many lives, innocent humans, have egregiously suffered, or worse: Died.

Now, at the threshold to the birth of the next, the third decade to this Century; and the Planet has moved even deeper into the darkness, proceeding down the path to conflict. The precursors to this deadly conclusion are self-evident to they who wish to observe. The rest will suffer the shock of their ignorance, as those of past epoch, have so fallen.

Like a spiral unwinding of all that came before; civil order unravels, exposing its flaws masked over by progress of that which is built, to what is coming. Where the faults to blame, whether they be a premeditation to a want outcome, or purely accident of cause to consequence, seem irrelevant. Their fate are being unleashed.

Nations, large and small, are present to this same discomfort being victim to the charted, progressing course, energized by meaning of unexpectedly, ill-defined purpose. The confusion these developments garnered allowed for the sense of national insecurity, fanned by events beyond their shores, innocent to, yet through, passive/aggressive acquiescence to what was put before them.

The fuse, to ignite the powder-keg of global discontent, has been in process of its making since the start of the 2^nd decade of this century; and now, approaching its end, the conditions are set, and ready, for its explosive, energy, spark!

One by one, the gate-keepers to rational investment of reason to conditional compromise, basis of historical rise to civility’s fragile organization, are being displaced. Their message to caution expunged from station of credence by a seemingly corrupt power, fueled by ignorance beyond self-indulgence of knowing their harmful consequences.

At large, and increasingly defining the track of this current, global unwinding course, residing in North America: the United States, the leading, global power, now, since 2017, is embarking upon the process of deconstructing the foundational, pillar structures upon which its dominance, as a global force since 1950, are founded.

Crisis is at hand, driven by the wedge of differences, hammered between factions of every description, premised and promised, by the algorithm design paradigm: divide and conquer ; to defeat an impediment to reward.

The falsehood of democracy as being an equal, unequivocally shared power to the masses, is gaining its dominance of being a truth.

Engineered politics being employed to maintain a stronghold, impervious to the reaches of constitutional laws, state, or importantly: federal.

NOVEMBER SEVEN-th, 2018, will be an eventful, historic day: heralding in a politic with potential to forever change the face humanity on the Planet: the potential, lit fuse to the keg!

The Oracle: the purveyor of things to come, prophecy rendered from the entrails of history’s telling.

The radical departure of Trump from his campaign rhetoric: to retreat from the historic United States’ hegemonic foreign policy, by his postings of Bolton and Pompeo, may be in anticipation of a major correction by the United States’ stock market toward the end of 2018, or early 2019, as detailed in the following report: https://medium.com/insurge-intelligence/city-of-london-financiers-contemplate-imminent-2018-us-stock-market-crash-of-up-to-fifty-ed217752428 .

History has shown; when economies are on the verge of collapse, or significant recession/depression, war becomes a viable option as a diversion for the electorate. Having two war hawks in your War Cabinet in such a period of political turmoil would be advisable. Too, with the 2018 Mid-term elections on the horizon, this would bode well to gain support for a Republican House and Senate win. Trump has two irons in the fire to option his war strategy: Iran and North Korea. Given the complexity of a North Korea war venture, Iran is the most viable target allied by Israel first, and Saudi Arabia as a viable second. Great Britain’s Teresa May would relish a major conflict to divert attention away from the BREXIT fiasco and Angela Merkel, and France’s Macron have their own problems that seek a way out and opportunity to prolong their political careers (said cynically).

So all that said: the future may not be as bright as we may want it, get ready!

Who Are We To Believe?

Since the 2016 election of Trump, 45th President of the United States, a component to his winning campaign is the allegation that the Iranian nuclear agreement, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), adopted by all participating nations of the United Nations Security Council in 2015, is a poorly negotiated agreement principally for reason that it would cease to curtail Iran from re-instituting its former nuclear weapons development, deemed to have ended as earlier as 2009, in fifteen years from date of its coming into effect.

Now, several months since his inauguration, during which period saw the hiring and firing of several senior members of his cabinet, Trump has strategically or otherwise, surrounded himself with well know Neocons such as John Robert Bolton, an American politician and attorney who is now National Security Advisor of the United States as of April 9, 2018. Bolton served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations and widely known for his hawkish war posturing during the uptake to the attack on Iraq in 2003. And most recently, to replace fired Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, Trump has appointed Michael R. Pompeo, an American politician, lawyer, and former army officer to serve as the 70th United States Secretary of State. Previous to this appointment, he was the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

The point of this essay is to highlight the political posturing and strategies being put into the public space by the media in preparation for President Trump’s decision to the future of the JCPOA, scheduled for on or before May 12, 2018, however, it is relevant to point out, at the present moment, the Trump presidency, and his administration’s credibility, is being challenged on the following three, widely publicized fronts:

First, domestically, is Special counsel, Robert Mueller’s and F.B.I.’s investigations related to purported Russian interference in his election campaign and more; and, the allegations related to a sexual affair with porn-star Stormy Daniels.
Second is North Korea: it’s leader Kim Jung Un’s highly publicized willingness to meet with Trump to negotiate for the dismantling of its nuclear missile program, to pursue re-unification with the South for the removal of economic stifling sanctions;
Third is Trump’s voiced threat to withdraw from the JCPOA with Iran if it is not renegotiated, to the satisfaction of the United States.

The need for Trump to divert public attention from the Mueller and F.B.I. investigations could suggest heightened emphasis, through media channels such as FOX News and conservative pundits, on the latter two major issues challenging the Trump administration.

Recent coverage of Kim Jung Un’s crossing of the North-South Demilitarized Zone to meet with South Korea’s President Moon Jae-In, in the latter part of April, 2018, is for the short term, de-emphasizing Trump’s role for the present moment, however, the appointment of Mike Pompeo, who has public voiced his discontent, and current mistrust of the North Korean regime’s willingness to dismantle its nuclear program for a lifting of sanctions and possible re-unification, has the potential to put that effort into jeopardy.

This leaves the United States posturing leading up to the self-imposed date of May 12, 2018 for its decision on the Iran deal (JCPOA).

To date, the leaders of all consenting countries to the JCPOA, have stated their continued support for the deal, and Iran’s compliance as demanded. The only dissenter is the United States and, to that end, the forces to make its case, now being front and center.

First, there is John Bolton, National Security Advisor. To firmly establish his advice on the JCPOA, is to Google or YouTube: “John Bolton on Iran deal” to view a litany of recent interviews where he states the case on behalf of the President. As early as July, 2017, Bolton tweeted: “Withdrawing from the Iran #NuclearDeal should be a top @realDonaldTrump administration priority.”

Most recently, in a move to discredit the Iranian governments role in the original negotiations, and its current commitment to meet its obligations as detailed by the JCPOA; Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, by way of YouTube video presentation, purports to have secured physical, documentary evidence, captured by Israeli secret services, that undeniably proves Iran lied leading up to the negotiated deal, and continues to deceive participating nations on its intent to reconstitute its nuclear ambitions, if not before the end of the fifteen year limitation.

What should be of concern is the statement that Trump is prone to believing what Netanyahu is making claim to by his presentation even though the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), the watchdog to the advancement of nuclear development, has indicated Iran has been, and continues to be, compliant with the agreement contrary to that of the United States.

So, these are the facts as best known, and as conveyed, through the various public media platforms.

What is at stake is the potential for another contrived conflagration instigated by the United States premised upon unfounded, but highly publicized, misinformation, or is it?

The point to be made by this essay is to highlight the different claims being made on this very important issue, and to suggest who might have the most to gain, or lose, by the various, outcome potentials. Certainly, Iran and its Peoples stand to lose the most in much the same way those of Iraq, Libya, and currently Syria and Yemen have lost. But, for the United States, and its supporting allies, and their citizens; may be impacted by an increase in their taxes to pay for the carnage they seem willing to support being imposed on foreign nations’ regimes that are not willing to march to the tune of western governments, or at best, maybe just to serve as a major distraction to events occurring or not, domestically.

This poem, originally written back in 2012 in response to social and geopolitical issues occurring at that tumultuous time, upon review, seems more appropriate to the current state of world affairs with the inauguration of the 45th President Donald J. Trump.

Unlike the fears garnered when the poem was first written; what seems poised on the horizon to erupt, due to increased nationalism not only in the United States but across Western Europe, should instill a true sense foreboding reminiscent of the pre-World War II era.

Unfortunately, humanity once again appears to fall victim to the machinations of the pathological designs of true power:

Last Human Standing

Falling deeper into the abyss of our making
This life on Earth seems forsaken
Though remedy of solution viably in-hand
But ignored, for reasons becoming clearer to understand

Global power held by the unseen elite
Are determined to manifest humanity’s defeat
They will not rest until their destructive plan is complete
Instigated with common people fighting each other in the street

Economic collapse is their efficient tool to instigate
Knowing empty belles’ are much easier to infuriate
Whilst poised in their ivory towers left to masturbate
While goon-squad militarized police, the uprisings, mitigate

It would take a fool’s mind not to see what is happening
The civilized structure of the last hundred years is set for collapsing
Then by their design a New Order for civilization is ready for hatching
To render a commoner’s life to impoverishment by servitude, ever-lasting

These are not words to echo the cry of humanity’s impending defeat
It is a call to recognize what is about to come and its receipt
Demanding if it is to happen – common people take their stand on the street
Poised ready to fight until the last Human standing on their feet

Future Of Humankind

December 28, 2016, United States Secretary of State, John Kerry’s seventy-minute-plus speech addressing the Israeli and the Palestinian State is a futile, last-minute attempt to bring resolve, a peace accord, to a seemingly unresolvable, decades-long conflict. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is quick to admonish Mr. Kerry’s remarks by advocating in the eight years of President Obama’s administration, it has failed to recognize the true plight of the Israeli Peoples. The Prime Minister then went further to seal the future for continued conflict in the region by putting his faith in the incoming President-Elect Donald Trump’s administration to provide the needed political, military and financial support for Israel to achieve its true and ultimate goal: a One-State solution.

Though the public position of the Netanyahu government is to move toward a Two-State solution the illegal expansion of settlements amongst other illegal Israeli maneuvers, remarked by Kerry, is evidence that this is not so. These obvious contradictions in policy supported by members of the Israel Knnest fly in the face of the United Nations Security Council and the Arab League of Nations which advocate for a Two-State solution in recognition of the Palestinian State and the Peoples of Palestine.

The tone of the incoming Trump administration comprised of hardball, militaristic, win at any cost attitudes; pledging undying support for Israel to achieve its unofficial goals to a One-State solution absolutely guarantees an escalation in acts of terror coming from apartheid occupied Gaza and West Bank and supporting factions in Jordan and Lebanon. To further exacerbate tensions in the already conflict-mired Middle-East region and of a broader concern for Israel; the growing influence of Iran. Which, under normal circumstances, would not have the backing support of the Arab League of Nations and potentially, some members of the United Nations Security Council such as Russia and China.

It does not take the intellect and talents of a master chess player to see the pieces to the game that is unfolding and that can only declare one party the winner. Unfortunately, the tools in the hands of those who seem bent on winning, at any cost, are sufficiently dire and decisive enough to bring humanity, if not its ultimate demise, most definitely its undoing for millennia.

The power of prayer seems beyond the wisdom of those to whom humanity has given the power to chart its course and leaves for history, the future of humankind, to truly know its ultimate fate.

Face it, the reality is that the System; the organized, political, judicial and institutional structure of civil society, as it has evolved, comprehensively, is beyond the scope of any Common-person or group of persons, to evoke REAL CHANGE!

Regardless of the Country-nation, be it one governed by democratic philosophy or autocratic, dictatorial oppressive rule; those individual citizens who advocate for a leadership role, on the strength of reforming the rule of law and legislative governance at the behest of the Common citizen, typically renege on the rhetorical promises made during their electoral campaign.

Virtually, on every occasion in the last century; be they President, Prime Minister, Autocratic Dictator or, other titled leader of a Nation, democratically elected or not, to the highest Office of the Nation; upon taking office and at times before, the only true change observed is diametrically opposite in direction to that advocated in the course of their electoral campaigning.

The direct consequence of this failing on the part of those elected to lead In the majority of countries deemed to have fully open, free democratic election processes; the percentage of those who actually vote typically falls below fifty-percent. Meaning, the candidate elected to Office in effect represents significantly less than a minor majority of the nation’s Peoples. The level of political skepticism and mistrust of elected officials effectually nullifies its true significance and fundamentally, is a waste of time and of public revenues.

So what is the remedy solution if, in fact, there is one to be had?

The answer to this question is elusive at this time, however, there are TWO real-time case-studies to be observed over the course of the next coming year of 2017 and beyond:

A) The Presidency of Donald J. Trump – 45 President of the United States

B) The Presidency of Rodrigo Duterte – Newly elected President of the Philippines

The significance of these two presidential administrations stems from both incumbents being elected on the strength of severe and radical CHANGE to the Establishment rule preceding being officially sworn to Office of President. Each having taken a controversial stance on the current state-of-governance and affairs.

In the case of Donald Trump, President-Elect; his brash and at times controversial statements in presenting his electoral platform focused on the middle-class; advocating for their better representation in the form of jobs and equality to share in the prosperity of the nation captioned by his electoral slogan: `Make America Great Again’.

However, the professional character of those whom his `Transition Team’ has announced, to date, to hold senior cabinet positions within the Trump Administration would suggest the antithesis to the far-reaching promises of his campaigning rhetoric.

With respect to President Duterte; his election rhetoric too was brash and controversial in nature. His use of deriding language focused on the condition of the middle-class but, more significantly, with respect to the state-of-the nation’s widespread, illegal drug cartels and, rampant corruption of those within public offices of government and private businesses advocating for a ruthless, eradicating approach to remedy the problems.

In conclusion, given the atypical construct of the campaigns awarding these two unconventional individuals the highest office of their respective Nations; the domestic and international implications of their administrative policies during their time of governance as yet to manifest on the world stage, undoubtedly, regardless, they will have a long-term impact on next generation, electoral cycle machinations for their respective nations as well, for those of observing nations.

However, in the interim, the Common-person still remains hostage to the failings of those who choose to come forward on the strength and promise of REAL CHANGE and, the inability of the System to mitigate its failings.

Disregarding how much its populations are made to bleed;
Inspired by ill-gotten wisdom of those who purport to lead;
Demanding the loud outcry of opposition’s struggle plead.

The forces of evil have found their needed start
By national leaders chosen with deceitful, evil heart
Set to tear all that has been made good, apart;
Demanding remedy capable to outwit, to outsmart.

The future for humankind seems increasingly bleak,
Incarceration of those who attempt to outwardly speak,
Militarized police beating down demonstrations in the streets;
Demanding the full goodness of all humanity for this enemy to defeat.

Left to manifest thoughts outwardly brave
