With all the strength that is my mind
I reach down deep, within my soul;
Prodding in search to find
My purpose – my ultimate goal.
My brain all muddled, and confused;
Consumed in search of a truth
To answerer the question:
What am I here to do?.
I know, with degree of certainty,
Countless others are of like mind;
Accepting life’s given challenges,
In hopes of this answer too, they will find.
Day in, day out – life-cycle continues;
Plodding along in mindless routine
Changing hats, and coats but, not the venue;
Driven forward by energy forces unseen.
Emanating from the minutest of Earth’s creatures;
Time’s life spirals outward, increasingly to an empirical scale;
Though we exhibit different living features,
Incrementally, we all follow the same cosmic trail.
Unwinding is the progressive; spiraling from its ethereal beginning, passive to its present, with infinite conscious energy, fed to its expenditure, toward the nothing of everything, manifesting, through its experience, memory to its passing, to color the instant, of its observed presence then; now; and, than!
Change in location, major change in life
The outcome of agumented, mental strife
A change brewed with passage of time
And ceaseless conflict with a conflicted mind
Proponents to living in the Now
Don’t often express the guide to How
Leaving to chance just to know When
A life-changing move is easiest to defend
Reflecting upon life’s traveled course
Can be a misleading, information source
The answer may lie with nature of the Snake
Shedding old skin: simply a living trait
