Agent of the Devil

Not one to believe in the existence of the mythical domain of despicable hate and vileness mastered by one referred to as the DEVIL however, if ever there is to be one human on this Earth who could/would easily be considered to qualify as an agent to such an incarnate, it has to be the Chief Executive Officer of Lockheed Martin, a well known international purveyor of the instruments of WAR.

In a recent shareholders’ meeting, C.E.O. Marilyn A. Hewson, shown here:

ceo

proudly and confidently assured her investor audience that the World is rife with conflict despite the tentative ratifying of the agreement with Iran such that a 30% increase in revenues is confidently anticipated. If not solely for the instability in the Middle East but, gleefully, the brewing tensions in the AsianPacific with not only North Korea but too, growing tensions between China and Japan.

Video: start at 1:52min. to hear her speech  (have a barf-bag ready)

One could almost suggest the lips on the pictured face of this despicable agent of the Devil are flush with the spilled blood of the countless millions of innocent men, women, and children for which she and Lockheed Martin shareholders are directly responsible through the industry she advocates and administers. Though she and her financial supporters did not create the state of conflict that consumes this world, they do little to nothing to stifle its advancement and aggression. The revel in her pronouncement, assuring the insatiable desire for conflict and killing around the world to be a source of growth and profit for her shareholders, can only be described as gut-wrenching to anyone with a gram of empathy and human emotion.  Obviously, Ms. Hewson proves by her own admission in this video; she and those who gain by their efforts to promulgate the killing of innocent lives for profit, are void of any such human qualities.

It is not enough to support our elected officials in defense against terrorist and radical extremist both foreign and domestic, it is time to demand they financially stifle the advances of companies such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics and other provocateurs, from manufacturing and distributing tools of mass destruction.

Hollow are the words of any national leader who purports to be against the brutal killing of innocent lives be it through war or domestic violence when they are unwilling to ONCE AND FOREVER: shut down the source of the tools of war.

One-way Ticket to Extinction

Since before the day the man who we’ve come to know as Jesus Christ, whether the Son of God or not, who took it upon himself to throw over the tables of the money-changers, running them out of the Temple of worship, charging them to be thieves by way of their commercial enterprises; the majority of humanity has suffered from the ills and hardships derived from the greed and power derived from and associated with, the mechanism know as Money.

Now in this 21st Century, the global commercial economy firmly committed to the avails of monetary exchange, essentially the life-blood to all that is to manifest, is driving this World’s inhabitants, all species, toward certain extinction.

As of this writing, in Paris France, for the third time since the start of this new millennium, a gathering of World leaders and a throng, a thousand-fold in number, of bureaucrats, activists, scientist and international journalist, have convened at the Cop 21 Climate Change Summit. A two week exercise to derive an international agreement setting limits on the level of carbon-dioxide emitted into the atmosphere and, practical measures to reduce existing levels to maintain a 1 degree Celsius rise in global temperatures.

Of the above statement what need be emphasised is `for the third time’.

To listen to what can only be termed `political rhetoric’ espoused by the respective leaders of participating nations, they ring hollow given that they speak to nothing new from words spoken in prior conferences. And, though some progress has be achieved by introduction of new carbon sequestration and limiting technologies, alternative energy solutions, etc.; on balance, they are dwarfed by comparison to the continued introduction of new sources and use of oil, coal and natural gas.

Too, the business driven concept solutions known as Carbon Tax and Cap and Trade are by any order of mindful rationale, nothing more then mechanisms to appease both commercial and public descent and short-term political solution to sustain power of government by the ruling political party. Regardless, the long term effects are still devastating to the well-being of all living creatures of the Planet.

To listen to the arguments present by the individual, international players comprising this latest gathering in Paris France, whether for and or against dramatic concrete, uniformly and permanently implemented efforts to combat the known environmental contributors to observed and experienced effects of Climate Change globally; Money is a the root to reasons put forward to substantiate either doing or not doing.

Given the life-threatening and extinction level effects of climate change presently and with certainty, future catastrophic events; money should be the last item of consideration when a viable, permanent solution is in the offering.

So, what or better stated: Who, is stopping this from happening?

Humanity has regrettably but succumb to the living concept that `money is power’. Countless lives and whole civilizations for aeons have been sacrificed to sustain this fictitious edict that, as stated at the beginning to this essay, has plagued human-kind since before the mythical time of one known as Jesus Christ.
Is it not time for this ridiculous concept to come to its end before it `buys’ humanity’s ticket to extinction?

There are solutions and it need not be bought by MONEY! The Collective of Humanity must once and through the strength and resolve of the power that is inherent purely by its presence on this planet Earth, TAKE BACK, that which belongs to every living specie: the RIGHT TO LIVE!

Historian, Historical, History

Observer to the world, to the sea of humanity,
Scribe to events that speaks to civility’s doing,
Avoiding subjective imposition to cause or relief,
Purveyor to the historical archive, for library’s account.

History’s reflection painted by epoch’s symbol words,
Coloured by contemporary mind to explicit translation,
Rendering interpretation to what is want to be heard,
Forever distorting the image to original, conception of truths.

Volumes destined to posthumous acknowledgement,
Eliciting suspicion to conflicted renderings of account,
Biased by misinformation, infusion of misconception,
Reaping  a permanent dominance of fact to the warring victor.

Steadfastly Ahead

https://youtu.be/ZEZhF0F5Av0

To view this volatile world by its extremes,
Difficult to define their measure by any other mean,
Essentially, leads to disasters unfathomably obscene
Yet, unfortunately, no other conclusion is viable to glean.

The binary portrayal of all human issues confronted
Demands and delivers an outcome progressively stunted;
Historical records examined validate this presumptive
Yielding a contemporary civilization stagnant and blunted.

Progressive models to humanity’s advance have long been touted
Yet, these envisioned dreams become quickly diminished and politically flouted.
Even though voiced and demonstrated desires are publicly shouted;
Economic and monetary limitations, excuses given, though strongly doubted.

The pessimistic conclusion to all that here can be said
Is beyond the myth of `tea leaves’ to be read;
The future of global, civil unrest and potential for blood to be bled;
Leads to all that is undesirous, with certainty, lies steadfastly ahead.

Invisible Fence of Control:

The actions of the French government and its imposition of a police-state upon peaceful climate-change demonstrators are completely unnecessary. What these actions only serve to prove is the control governments insist on imposing upon its citizenry. Ironically, the same control the likes of ISIS is criticized for doing in the name of a distorted theology. So in the end, we citizens must question: are we truly free whether it be from the pathology of institutional governments or radical extremist? The criminality of the former stems from propagandist rhetoric to mislead its populace to believe they are free yet, when such freedoms, exercised as in the climate-change and similar demonstrations, the only means of publicly voicing discontent, are systematically and brutally shut-down. The concept of freedom in a purportedly democratic state is an illusion. Yes, you may have the freedom of movement but, only if your movement does not cross the line of demarcation defined by the State. And should you wish to demonstrate to voice your concern of such demarcations, you must be ready to suffer the consequence. Now is that freedom or just a prison behind the invisible fence of Control?

Gapping Wound’s Bleed

world divide

Malignant chaos’ sufferance globally grows;
Chronicling an age of brutality, suppression imposed;
Religion, ethnicity, skin colour given cause to diminish, abuse;
Repetitively spoken with indifference, nightly, by mainstream News.

Political factions volley reason for remedy course to chart;
Pulling the strings of humanity’s ailing, callusing heart;
Hope; a candle lit to a darkened room, looms bright,
Yet, is easily snuffed, its flame doused by hysteria and fright.

The battle between goodness and evil, thought to be ancient foe,
Yet, deeper into a darkening chasm of hate seems the current flow;
Modernity; period of intellect able to overcome these incessant storms,
Renders without precedent; historical antecedent to this expected norm.

The hammered wedge of divineness that grows increasingly wide;
Bought by differing nationalism, theology, moral beliefs and pride;
Need be diffused by reason of intellect, compassion and compromise to succeed
So, the collective of humanity can finally cauterize this gaping wound’s bleed.

25000 Refugees

flag

As the new Liberal government under Prime Minister Trudeau proceeds to process 25000 refugees from the scourge of war in the Middle East, more and more Canadians are voicing their concern that the effort will only serve to import radical terrorist to Canadian shores. The opinions voiced by way of comments to News articles addressing the concern has illustrated the true nature of some Canadians in the form of intolerance and cloaked discrimination.  To illustrate my sentiments in reaction to these comments I offer up the following:

25000 Refugees

Food-chain to War

Let’s be gloriously optimistic and suggest that war of any definition comes to a sudden and abrupt end tomorrow. What would be the outcome?

Face it, like any organism of which conflict is no different, it must be fed, it needs replenishment as do all organisms. It digests and expels. Well, in war, things get destroyed, blown up, etc.. Therefore it creates a need; the necessity of a supply-chain to replenish that which has been lost or expended.

So where does this material come from? Who manufactures these specialized tools of conflict?

It does not take a leap of faith to suggest that ONLY developed nations of the world have the manufacturing and technological capacity to produce the diverse and robust cornucopia of military hardware to meet the insatiable digest of war in all its diverse forms of conflagration.

The challenges the proposition of ending militarism through the ending of development and procurement of military hardware in all its configurations spanning from nuclear to hand-held guns and their bullets has been duly addressed by the Department of Disarmament of the United Nations by its 1989 report titled: Study on the Economic and Social Consequences of the Arms Race and Military Expenditures. It was prepared `in response to mandates of the General Assembly, on the economic and social consequences of the arms race’. It is a comprehensive examination of the socio-political and economic impacts the arms race has for both developed and developing nations.

The findings of the report on such a complex matter are not easily summarized in this essay and therefore for those truly interested seek out the report to be found here: UN Report

However, of the many, the following conclusion effectively conveys the intent of this essay:

164. The complex relationship between disarmament, development and security has been thoroughly explored in the Final Document of the International Conference On the Relationship between Disarmament and Development, as follows:

“Security is an overriding priority for all nations. It is also fundamental for both disarmament and development. Security consists of not only military, but also political, economic, social, humanitarian and human rights and ecological aspects. Enhanced security can, On the one hand, create conditions conducive to disarmament and, on the other, provide the environment and confidence for the successful pursuit of development. The development process, by overcoming non-military threats to security and contributing to a more stable and sustainable international system, can enhance security and thereby promote arms reduction and disarmament. Disarmament would enhance security both directly and indirectly. A process of disarmament that provides
for undiminished security at progressively lower levels of armaments could allow additional resources to be devoted to addressing non-military challenges to security, and thus result in enhanced overall security.” ‘

This conclusion leads to the obvious question: Why is this recommendation not constructively pursue?

Unfortunately, part of the answer resides in the same report which also concludes:

“172. The present study shows that military expenditures have extensive social and
economic consequences. Economic effects are most pronounced in leading military
spenders, and in particular in those areas of their economies which are dominated
by modern science and technology, which is a key factor in the present arms race.”

Since the invasion and conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq commencing in 2003 and now predominates most of the Middle East and North Africa, the style of war has dramatically altered from `field war’ as was fought in the Second World War and even Vietnam to some extent; to an `urban war’. Urban wars are fought amidst civilians often held as shields by terrorist elements. In this latter situation, the enemy combatant is often difficult to differentiate from their civil surroundings making the instance of innocent lives, collateral casualties to the conflict.

This all said what seems to be overshadowed is the fact that whether an organized battalion of trained, professional military personnel or `ragamuffin’ informal, untrained terrorist groups; they all demand a steady flow of material and armament to sustain their position in battle.

At present the terrorist groups such as Al Quida and its cohort: ISIS, ISIL, IS (Islamic State) pose formidable resistance to western allied nations’ attempts to end their brutal assault and advancement leaving the slaughter of countless innocent citizens in the wake of their push and capture of territory throughout Iraq and in Syria.

What is difficult to understand, as evidenced by nightly media reports of the conflict, are the parades of ISIS combatants (terrorists) in lines of Toyota pickup trucks, at times in the hundreds. Too, the thousands of their kind equally attired in black uniforms armed with similar weapons. Though this organization is defined as a terrorist organization, they appear by all accounts, to be organized, military army battalions.

So who is supplying them and why are these chains of supply NOT the first line of attack by western allies? By cutting off the chain of supply and starving the enemy into defeat.

This brings the discussion full circle forcing the question: Do the powers-that-be who reap the DIRECT financial benefit derived from the expenditures of military conflict in any of its conflagrations, desirous to see the end of such conflict and, the assured decline of their future prosperity in `blood money’?

It is difficult to conceive of individuals who are willing to see innocent lives lost both in the theatre of battle or far removed, such as has just happened in Paris, for the sake of power of position and politic derived by enrichment through production and sale of arms and technology but, history clearly speaks to this being the case.

Again to quote the UN report on disarmament:
“The ending of the arms race and the achievement of real disarmament are tasks
of primary importance and urgency. To meet this historic challenge is in the
political and economic interests of all the nations and peoples of the world
as well as in the interests of ensuring their genuine security and peaceful
Future.”

The report published in 1989, it is now 2015: what is the true and real impediment to this becoming a reality any time soon?

Deviousness of Plan?

a

Are we, the common Peoples of this world who cry,
Ponds to those whom sit on true power of high,
Source to the strings to what does unfold,
Devious, detached to what scourge they behold?

The birth to this historical era of fright and death,
Were it a forethought or spontaneous plan,
Either way, it has taken on a life that flourishes,
Fed by the rancour of unyielding, insatiable foes.

Unrelenting, seems the flow of blood spawned by hate,
Instigated in defence of distorted, theocratic ideology
Yet, questionable to the camouflage cover it provides
Scrupulously; the truth to reason and purpose it hides.

If this be rai·son d’ê·tre to those whom look down,
What they serve to accomplish is more blood soaked ground;
For the illness of mind that is now ravenously being unleashed,
Finds service of comfort to Faith, the more of their enemy to defeat.

Borderless, this trauma seems likely to find its course,
Opposition to its viral spread made more difficult to source,
Like a pandemic virus inoculation of remedy taking time to find,
All the while, liberty of life and freedoms obliged to decline.

The darkest of clouds bought by the unrest has yet to manifest,
To be avoided, those of righteous standing must come to the test;
Knowing full well the cause to what incites this scourge to unfold,
In service to humanity; they must come forth, let the truth finally be told.

World Affairs – Slowly Unravelling

crisis

Epicentre: Ground Zero – SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 a.k.a.: 911

Thanks to President George W. Bush Administration’s knee-jerk response to a planned execution to derive the response it has garnered some fifteen years later, finds the world spinning out of control in a futile attempt to counter every conceivable issue imaginable that is detrimental to the longevity of human existence on this space cycling planet.

Migration of displaced humans a.k.a.: migrants, is imposing untolled hardship on every aspect involved in the issue from the unfortunate migrants themselves, innocent ponds in the senseless and brutal conflicts imposed by out-of-touch psychopathic politicians and bureaucrats, to the innocent citizens of the countries literally being invaded by scores of men, women and their children generating purely hateful, dogmatic reactions on a scale to be considered a crime against humanity.

The following video plainly illustrates the growing, divisive issues gaining momentum as the flow of refugees from primarily African nations, who are primarily Muslim representing all strata of this faith’s beliefs. The result; it creates a two-pronged problem in the eyes of those vehemently opposed to opening their nation’s borders.

Firstly, the threat jihadist elements will be amongst the migrants raising potential for terrorist actions on their soil and second, the direct and physical assault on the civility and traditions they do not wish imposed upon.

The irony lies in what the migrant, questioned as to why Britain and not France states: `Britain is a `Kingdom’, a place where he and his family can flourish. The United States is first and Britain is second.’ This undoubtedly stems from the false and misleading propagandist imagery and rhetoric fed to poorer nations by way of international western media of every sort, now coming to bite them in the proverbial ASS!

In the meantime, the People of Greece already repressed due to unimaginable austerity measures imposed upon they and their government by the European Union principally enforced by Germany, seconded by France, are being over-run by migrant refugees attempting to escape the death and destruction in all parts of the Middle East and northern and central Africa. Though the Greek Islands are serving as a way-stop for refugees targeting Germany as their ultimate destination, here too, the local populace feels unduly pressured to morally respond to the crisis, a crisis created by leaders of other countries. An imposition difficult to accommodate even in the best of economic times.

To where this growing humanitarian crisis will ultimate lead is open to speculation, informed or otherwise but, given the timid international response to the dire state for so many and growing, the outcome in any framework of common sense knows it is not favoured to be good.
