TRUMP vs The M.S.M.

160204_donald_trump_AP_1160.jpg

First, let me state the following is NOT intended to be deemed support for Donald J. Trump as the next President of the United States, however, that stated, I find it difficult to accept the reportage centered on the premise of his failing to pay his fair share of taxes LINK.

To any rational mind, the suggestion that Trump has avoided or failed to pay taxes stemming from a $916million dollar capital loss via his 1995 tax filing is erroneous.

First, the responsibility for the validity of claims for losses does not rest with the one filing such losses but with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Given that the filing is for the 1995 fiscal year of Trump business activity, one would have to presume the IRS fulfilled its due diligence and accepted the filing as meeting all applicable tax laws of the time.

The News media’s attempts to paint a different picture is both slanderous and misleading to the general public, most of whom are not versed in the manner by which the IRS deals with corporate filings. This only leads one to interpret this as a calculated effort by media outlets to discredit Trump and his campaign bid for the White House and by default, give credence to the Clinton campaign to utilize this `scandal‘ to unfair advantage.

The fear of a Trump presidency is palpable, however, to utilize such tactic will only serve to bolster his blue-collar base to vote not necessarily for Trump himself but, against the Establishment which, as they see it, includes the increasingly obvious bias of mainstream media.

It is a dangerous game being played, one likely to radically change the face of civilized western society for decades to come yet, those in the position to influence, such as the mainstream media (of all format), either fail to recognize this fact, or, willingly sacrifice potential for a harmonious future for the sake of ratings (CBS)

IMPORTANT: SAVE THE DAY

Encountering on YouTube, a video titled: IMPORTANT: Save the Day  wherein several A-list celebrities amongst a few commoners, profess the vital importance of registering and eventually voting come November 8, 2016.  As would be expected several took to commenting on the said video with a wide range of response from the rational to the downright stupid.
I posted (see at the end of the comment stream below) what may arguably be considered a rationally objective view of the current state of the electoral process, the limited and potentially negative results regardless of which candidate wins then, subsequent to this posting, I reviewed the comments that had preceded my own.
Having done so I couldn’t help but reflect (see at the end of the comment stream below) on the general verbal mire that ensued and not necessarily directed toward the video content but, against fellow commenters.
My point via this posting is the fact that my comments received neither `a like, dislike`, nor even a supporting or abusive comment. Whilst, as illustrated here (see below), are the comments that followed my own (timeline), with as you will see, several likes, dislikes, and comments either way.
So, I don’t know why this is but, a want to draw the distinction to whatever conclusion you may yourself draw.
Good Luck to all who live in the United States, I do not envy though do fear for your and the rest of the World’s future post-November 8, 2016.
Top comments that followed my comments found at the end of the thread:
They are part of the establishment. Fuck em, I’mma vote for Trump.

So apparently wanting criminals out of your country is racist? These liberals are fucking autistic. If your mother was raped and murdered by an illegal would you still want people to waltz in and out illegally? No. Building a secure border is not racist you inbred cunts.

NAYKD POET

After posting my comment I scanned the other `Comment'(s) and it is sad to say: they are a true reflection of the chaotic mental state of the United States. A combination of ignorant, ill-informed and downright nastiness that spawns the deeply divisive state of the American Union. Based on the examples given in this comment thread, regardless of the 2016 election outcome, there is much turmoil in store for America and, unfortunately, the rest of the World will not be immune to the consequences from it. This situation, predictably, will be evidence to one of the most tumultuous decades of the 21st Century; opening with the 9-11 experience and, potentially, closing with an outright revolutionary uprising. Only time will be truth to history.

NAYKD POET

An impressive call-to-arms(vote) however, the American public are being given the choice to either shoot themselves in the head versus jumping off the nearest bridge; unfortunately, WE, the rest of the WORLD’s population, will suffer the same consequence regardless of the choice they make! The Electoral College system of choosing the next President of the United States does not ensure that the popular choice of the People will be the President Elect. For this reason: NO ONE anywhere, after November 8, 2016, will be resolved in knowing the future will be one we can look forward to with a modicum of HOPE, unlike the 2008 electoral cycle.

United States 2016 Presidential Campaign: Where Will It Lead?

conflict

The seminal experience: the attack and destruction of the World Trade Centre September 11th, 2001, has yielded a level of dysfunction in global politics unseen in current human history. The dissemination of the global human collective on the lines of ethnicity, religion and political affiliation has never been as pronounced and, continues to be amplified as the world advances through this, the second decade, of this 21st Century.

Increasingly, the world is witnessing a menacing rise of divisiveness instigated by the march of humbled Middle Eastern or North African refugees. Hundreds of thousands of Peoples brutally torn from their former tranquil lives by the scourge of political and civil unrest wanting only for the perceived safety of shelter in the sanctity of European nations only to be rebuffed by a vocal segment of the established populace of affected nations such as Greece, Germany and even Sweden, particularly against those of Muslim faith.

Adding to the embroilment of human discontent is the hardship arising from the meltdown of the global financial system ignited by the collapse of Wall Street in 2007-08, the implications and hardships that continue to affect the balance sheets of nations globally to this day. The citizens of European nations suffering from imposed, harsh austerity measures to counter losses of wealth suffered, respond vehemently and vocally to the erosion of their political sovereignty worsened by the infusion of immigrants and refugees invading their porous borders.

In such troubling and tumultuous times of the past, the world’s populace turned to great nations such as the United States and Great Britain for balanced and dogmatic leadership to aid in deriving peaceful resolve and as when necessary, military intervention, to quell the rising storm of insurgency as was the case with the rise of Germany’s Führer-State in the 1930’s under Adolf Hitler that manifest as global conflict that ended in the western nation’s allied victory of 1945.

Unfortunately, unlike the era that preceded the execution of World War II when the United States in particular, was viewed as the globe’s most stalwart of economic, socio-political stability, able to aid in the defeat the rise of Fascism, today in 2016, as evidenced by the execution of the Primary process to select each major party’s candidate to run in the 2016 Presidential election, such could not be farther from the case.

Of particular concern is the foment arising from the campaign of Republican nominee candidate Donald J. Trump.

Video:Donald J. Trump

The crux of Mr. Trump’s campaign is to amplify the level of fear garnered from the rise of terrorist factions outside of the United States though they are perceived by his ardent and often misinformed followers, as being a direct threat to their security. As well, he instigates hatred toward undocumented immigrants charging them, without substantiation, as taking away the jobs and livelihood of his often low-wage earning campaign supporters.

With respect to the Democratic party’s campaign to nominate a 2016 presidential candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders’, a Socialist-Democrat, too, is gaining support from what is effectively the same segment of the United State’s electorate as Donald Trump however, for decidedly less inflammatory reasons such as economic and social inequality derived from the power and influence of `big money’ Wall Street financiers and, corporate lobbyist in the political process.

Video: Bernie Sanders

In light of what has been said, all-be-it in brief form, it behoves not only the citizen-electorate of the United States to pay attention to the developments arising from the 2016 presidential elections but for reasons illustrated by the following video, the global population need be concerned. The eventual outcome in the election of next President of the United States may have irreversible and devastating consequence for the entire Peoples of the World:

Video: Rise of Fascism
