If there is ever to be a distinctive iconic feature to this amazing island country, it has to be the wide and varied collection of well-preserved late 40’s to early 50’s automobiles. The living time-capsule of an era long past for most of the remaining world cultures especially for North America where such relics are coveted and fetch thousands of dollars. The opening of relations between Cuba and the United States will undoubtedly put pressure on those holding onto these treasures to give them up for the reward of enough money to buy the latest model on the roads today.
