(Interpret the following in the context of your choosing; a challenge to its meaning)
The walls of confinement are real
Not the kind that are meant to feel
But to their prisoner, the deal
A mind’s creation, to hide, or conceal?
What a lonely life is here led
No more emotions left to be bled
Into a dark abyss consigned – defeated
Is hopelessness here to be conceded?
Observing eyes shut to what’s seen
Presuming all goodness and serene
Not to tamper with illusion-dream
Is all the pain as real as it seems?
A mind’s creation, to hide, or conceal?
Is hopelessness here to be conceded?
Is all the pain as real as it seems?
Answers lie in the fabric of dreams.
